Where are you located?

Shawnee Baptist Church is located on the West side of U.S. 177, just south of MacArthur road.  We are across the street from Hertz equipment rental and adjacent to Duval Equipment.  You can find us by looking for our sky blue sign along the highway.

What should I wear?

There is not a dress code for members or guests.  You will find that our staff and many of the people at Shawnee Baptist dress in a traditional “Sunday dress”; however, you will not find a judgmental spirit if you choose to dress casual.

What do the children do during the church services?

During each service, our clean and well-staffed nursery is available for children 3 years old and younger.

What type of music do you have?

Our music is based upon the truth the music was created to magnify God through our praise. You will find that we primarily have a hymn-based music program, rather than following the cultural trends of music.  We do not use hymns because we are “old-fashioned”, but because we desire to sing songs that cause us to think great thoughts about God.  Though we sing hymns, the traditional music at Shawnee Baptist is alive and well.
